Vintage Cashs Woven Silk Needle Case

This​ ​adorable​ ​'A​ ​Stitch​ ​in​ ​Time'​ ​sewing​ ​kit​ ​was​ ​specially​ ​made​ ​by​ ​Cash's​ ​of​ ​Coventry,​ ​England​ ​with​ ​the​ ​intention​ ​of​ ​becoming​ ​a​ ​family​ ​heirloom​ ​(the​ ​lovely​ ​story​ ​of​ ​the​ ​needlecase​ ​is​ ​included​ ​on​ ​the​ ​inner​ ​lid​ ​of​ ​the​ ​original​ ​box​ ​and​ ​can​ ​be​ ​seen​ ​in​ ​photo​ ​#3).​ ​

The​ ​silk​ ​case​ ​has​ ​gold​ ​trim,​ ​gold​ ​tassels​ ​for​ ​closing,​ ​and​ ​an​ ​embroidered​ ​floral​ ​design​ ​featuring​ ​yellow​ ​flowers​ ​and​ ​green​ ​leaves.​ ​It​ ​measures​ ​approximately​ ​2.75'​ ​by​ ​3.5'​ ​closed​ ​and​ ​comes​ ​in​ ​the​ ​original​ ​cellophane​ ​and​ ​box​ ​(the​ ​packaging​ ​has​ ​some​ ​tear​ ​and​ ​wear​ ​from​ ​time,​ ​but​ ​the​ ​needlecase​ ​is​ ​in​ ​really​ ​lovely​ ​condition​ ​and​ ​appears​ ​to​ ​be​ ​unused).​ ​Inside​ ​there​ ​are​ ​three​ ​pins,​ ​needles,​ ​scissors,​ ​four​ ​safety​ ​pins,​ ​a​ ​gold​ ​colored​ ​thimble,​ ​and​ ​threads.
